Editorial Policy

Publication Ethics and Good Editorial Practices

Revista EJEF adopts and promotes high standards of ethics in scientific publishing and academic integrity, aligning its practices with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Authors and editors must ensure transparency, accountability, and rigor at all stages of the editorial process. Manuscripts are expected to be original (or to include an explicit declaration of any prior publication), to present proper authorship attribution, accurate citation of sources, and reliability of the information and data provided.

Scientific misconduct includes, among other unacceptable practices, plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabrication or manipulation of data, improper authorship, failure to disclose conflicts of interest, or any form of academic fraud. Such situations will be addressed with due rigor and may result in rejection, retraction of a published article, communication with the institutions involved, and other appropriate measures, in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Revista EJEF reserves the right to adopt corrective measures whenever ethical violations are identified, including after publication, in defense of scientific credibility and the public interest.
